A former President of her Local Association of Realtors, she has also served at the state level of The California Association of Realtors for 16 years as head of "Consumer Protection", a vice-chair of “Land Use and Environmental”, Regional representative in Common Area Subdivisions, and Taxation. She has served on nearly all committees at the state level. She recently was drafted for an unprecedented second term on the board of directors of the Newport Board of Realtors.

Barbara owned her own successful real estate company in the 1980's which was purchased by Prudential. She holds a broker's license in California, a designation held by only 3% of all real estate agents nationally.

Barbara currently serves on two homeowner association boards. She is court certified as a legal expert witness in real estate trials, representing buyers, sellers and brokerage firms.

Barbara is the mother of 4 sons and 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.

Susi began her career in real estate at 714 Realty aka The Prudential 714 Realty in 1987. She helped with the development of the company and oversaw the front office staff.

When the company was sold in 1989, Susi sold new homes for J.M. Peters. After the project was complete, Susi moved into property management for a period of three years. She did all aspects of property management, including the corporation’s accounting.

During that period of time, she was recruited by a local well-known escrow company where for the next five years Susi worked in the escrow business. In escrow she handled the myriad of details involved in successfully closing sales transactions. She was in charge of trust accounting and oversaw audits from the Department of Corporations.

When a close friend opened a mortgage company, she gained some lending experience under his direction. Feeling her extensive background and acquired skills would now provide her with the broad range of technical and practical experience paramount to being a high level professional on the sales side of real estate, she rejoined her mother to form The Amstadter Team. Recently she received the 15 Year Legend award, bestowed upon only 10 agents to date in the Prudential community of 60,000 agents, a definite high point in her career.

Susi was an accomplished international gymnast and her years of sacrifice and training are evident in her high degree of self discipline. Her daughter is her pride and joy and she utiilizes her teaching degree to assist in the classroom frequently.
