PELICAN HILL

BOUNDARIES:

Pelican Hill is bounded by Pelican Hill Road, Pelican Hill Golf course and Buck Gully Canyon. With an intimate, scenic surrounding, the community has direct access to parkland biking trails and is within walking distance to the Pelican Hill Golf Club. Twenty-four hour guards greet visitors and homeowners.

   

HOMES:

There are 130 homes set on contoured hillside sites averaging one-half acre or more, with 10 homes set on two to four lots.

   

HISTORY:

Set on the historic site of Buck Hill, the Irvine Company spent years developing this eight-year-new community, surrounded by more than 10,000 acres of which 7,500 are preserved for open space. This includes 5,000 acres of land for recreational uses including a park with tennis, swimming and tot lot soon to be opened in the Newport Coast for use by Pelican Hill residents.

   

STYLE:

European-style enclave with architecture featuring Mediterranean, Italian and French custom estates. Mature landscaping enhances this recently developed family neighborhood.

   

FEATURES:

The newly built Newport Coast Elementary, scheduled to open Jan. 8, 2001 and Corona del Mar High School. Sage Hill, the first non-denominational college preparatory private high school in Orange County and Harbor Day private elementary are both less than three miles away.
